About Us
In 2009, while planning a field trip for participants in an international youth camp I organized in the region, I stumbled upon Sarıhacılar Village and observed that its natural landscape was completely unspoiled and preserved in its original state. I decided to establish the ethnography museum I had dreamed of creating in this village, to display the folkloric objects I had collected from all over Turkey as a hobby since 1978.

During the restoration of the properties I acquired in Sarıhacılar Village, I realized that our work and Sarıhacılar Village itself were attracting a great deal of interest from foreign tourists. Along with the museum construction, I also started the restoration of Ayşenaz Hanım Mansion to serve as a hotel and restaurant. In 2016, the "Fomged Turkish Folklore Museum" and Ayşenaz Hanım Mansion Restaurant opened their doors. At the beginning of 2018, the Ayşenaz Hanım Boutique Hotel also began operating. Currently, the restoration work of our second museum, the "Yörük Life Museum," is ongoing.
